Talon offers more traditional wines and features a classic Viognier, which grows well in Mesa County because the area is similar in climate to the Rhone region of France. Talon also has a fudge counter with several flavors including lavender fudge. Smells like soap, but tastes like chocolate. Delicious! (785 Elberta Ave., Palisade; 970-464-9288).
