Take a Refined Bar Crawl at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs |
The Golden Bee (On the corner of Lake Avenue and First Street)
One of the resort's most popular bars, the Bee has been a fixture since the 1960s and is a re-created 19th century English pub with most of the room’s furnishings shipped over from England. This is the place for a proper pint, which you can order by the yard. Imagine, a yard of beer. Pair that yard with some fish and chips or roast beef. There is also a nightly piano player playing a selection of old English drinking songs and classic singalong songs such as Sweet Caroline and Margaritaville. Don’t know the words? There are songbooks available that guests can use so no excuse for not joining in.
