Del Frisco's to Host Louis XIII Indulgence Feast
For those who want to go all out for the holidays, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House in the Denver Tech Center is hosting a decadent feast on Wednesday, December 6. Indulge at the Louis XIII Indulgence Feast beginning at 6 PM. Feast on fine foods from Executive Chef Mario Hernandez paired with premium wines and spirits, including Louis XIII Cognac, a cognac that retails in the thousands of dollars.
This six-course meal will kick off with fresh shucked oysters with caviar and a Black Truffle Stoli Elite Martini. And it only gets more decadent from there. Other sips include Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Champagne, Peter Michael La Carriere Chardonnay, 2012 Paul Hobbs “Besckstoffer Las Piedras” Cabernet Sauvignon and 1986 Bodegas Toro Albala Pedro Ximenez Gran Reserva. The sixth course is that fabulous Remy Martin Louis XIII Cognac.
Founded in 1724, the House of Remy Martin is located in Cognac, France. Louis XIII Cognac is made from over from a blend of over 1,200 grape eaux-de-vie and housed in a special decanter modeled after a 16th century metal flask. A bottle retails for $3,200 dollars.
