Learn to Cook with Tequila at Kachina
This Thursday, July 23, Chef Jeff and Kachina Southwestern Grill will host a Cooking Class at the restaurant featuring the summer’s hottest spirit, tequila. It also happens that National Tequila Day is Friday, July 24.
Learn to cook with tequila, agave, and prickly pear and make delicious dishes like Fried Cactus Leaves with avocado tequila relish and agave nectar, The Mojave Navajo Taco with duck confit, house-pickled cactus, manchego cheese, and agave nectar, and the Pineapple Agave Sorbet with Colorado cherry and orange tequila syrup.
Students will also learn how to make the perfect Paloma using Kachina’s exclusive Herradura 48 Minutos Reposade, an ideal cocktail for summer. The class will include recipe cards for students to take home. The class is only $30 per person (ages 21 and up) and reservations can be made by calling the restaurant at 303-410-5813.
