Greeley’s Go-Cup District/Friday Fest: What do Key West, New Orleans, Las Vegas and Greeley, CO, all have in common? Go-cups allowed! Just an hour’s drive from downtown Denver, the Go-Cup District is a go. At a public hearing in February, the city council voted to allow open containers on Friday nights after a successful trial run last summer (could Denver be far behind?). Called Friday Fest, open containers will be allowed in downtown Greeley around the 9th Street Plaza from 5-10 PM, May 24-September 20 . Just don’t be driving back to Denver if you decided to partake - get a room! (9th Street Plaza between 8th and 9th Avenues, Greeley)
