Where to Enjoy a Filling New Year's Day Brunch in Denver

Another New Year’s Eve has come and gone. How are you feeling? Did you party until the sun came up or did your turn in early to avoid the ruckus? Either way you need sustenance. Start the year off right with a meal and a beverage at one of these fine establishments on New Year’s Day.

Carbon Beverage Café 
The Carbon will be open along with its neighbor and partner in sugar crime Habit Doughnut Dispensary offering hard to resist treats on New Year’s Day. Enjoy a hangover brunch at Carbon featuring Devil-fried Chicken and Waffles. The bar will have fresh OJ on tap for diners to make customizable Mimosas. Epic Brewing Company 
Join Epic Brewing for the Holiday Hangover Party on New Year’s Day. To make things even more interesting, the brewery will give anyone who shows up in pajamas 10% off beers. The fun starts at 11 AM, and there will be Beer-mosas, Bloody Beers, and cold brewed coffee from Novo Coffee to blend with Epic’s best stouts. Ignite Burgers & Bar 
Why go home when you can enjoy the Walk of Shame Brunch at Ignite on New Year’s Day? Enjoy live music by Rob Drabkin while drinking bottomless Mimosas and Bacon Bloody Marys. Brunch is from 10 AM to 2 PM. (2124 Larimer St.; 303-296-2600)

Kachina Southwestern Grill
In case your night didn’t end New Year’s Eve, Kachina inside the Westin Westminster will begin brunch at 6:30 AM on New Year’s Day. The brunch features Bottomless Bloodys and Mimosas to help wash down Huevos Ranceros, Benedicts, and Blue Corn Waffles. Max’s Wine Dive 
Have a hankering for something savory to cure that hangover? Get to Max’s for Prime Rib Hangover Fries on New Year’s Day featuring tender prime rib with a healthy shot of cheese, scallions, and bacon topped with jalapenos, more cheese, scallions, and bacon and served with sunny side up eggs and spicy lemon hollandaise. Palettes at the Denver Art Museum
Add some fine art to this New Year’s Day with brunch at Palettes at the museum. The restaurant will serve an a la carte brunch with bottomless Mimosas for $14 and bottomless Bloodys for $7 from 11 AM to 3 PM. Call for reservations. (100 W. 14th Ave.; 303-534-1455)

Punch Bowl Social

Both locations of the ViewHouse will offer the regular Sunday Brunch menu on New Year’s Day with a variety of offerings. Pair the brunch with the ViewHouse Bottomless Bloody Mary.
