Strings Hosts Bristol Brewing Beer Dinner, October 24
Colorado Springs’s Bristol Brewing produces a strong stable of beers in addition to its famous Scottish ale, Laughing Lab, and on Wednesday, October 24, you’ll have a chance to sample several of the local brews along with five courses of food at Uptown’s Strings.
The New American restaurant will present the entire dinner for just $40 per person, including the eats and the suds. Look for white bean soup paired with Compass IPA (6.5% ABV), pan-fried ravioli with Red Baron Oktoberfest (5.8% ABV) and braised lamb shank with the popular Laughing Lab (5% ABV). Beer even comes with dessert — honey-lemon-thyme cheesecake sounds great with Bristol Beehive Honey Wheat (4% ABV).
