Brewdog Opens Craft Beer Hotel Inside Brewery With Beer on Tap in Rooms in Ohio
Columbus is now home to the brand-new craft beer hotel, with the opening of BrewDog’s DogHouse Hotel in Ohio.
The hotel is located in Columbus inside the Scottish company’s 100,000 square foot brewery space. Of course, a craft beer hotel is going to have amenities suitable for beer lovers, including rooms equipped with beer taps and fully stocked fridges, built-in shower beer systems, hop-infused soaps, and great views of the brewing process from inside each room. The hotel itself features an on-site museum, dog friendly rooms, games like beer pong and ping pong, fitness equipment, a media room and more to keep guests sudsy and satisfied.
What makes the hotel even more unique was that it was crowdfunded by fans of the brewery that raised $300,000 for access to special perks and early bookings. “For many beer fans, the idea of a beer hotel was just a pipe-dream,” said BrewDog co-founder James Watt in a press release. “A beer utopia that was never thought possible. Until now. Thanks to the backing of our global community of beer evangelists, we’ve been hard at work to make that dream a reality.”
Some planned upgrades for the facility include building a sour brewing system on-site, adding to BrewDog’s experimental capabilities. The brewing company is also currently constructing a second craft beer hotel at their headquarters in Ellon, Scotland.
Rooms start at $162 per night for a king sized bedrooms and go up to $284 per night for a full brewmaster’s suite. For more info or to book your room visit this link.
