Del Frisco's Grille Has a New Happy Hour Menu
As we inch closer to fall, you may think it’s time to head indoors. Not at Del Frisco’s Grille in Cherry Creek. The rooftop is open well into the fall and the bar has just revamped the cocktail and happy hour menus so the good vibes can continue. Here is a look and a taste.
Start off the happy hour with Honeymoon in Paris made with Courvoisier VS, Benedictine, lavender syrup, apricot nectar, and lemon. This floral drink served in a coupe keeps things classy while you munch on small plates and enjoy conversation.
The Spanish Gin Tonic, not gin AND tonic mind you, is a botanical mix of juniper and cardamom thanks to ice cubes frozen with bits of cardamom inside. This gorgeous and garden-y cocktail gets more complex as the flavored cubes melt.
For youthful fun the Fruit & Flowers cocktail is for adults only. Made with Tito’s Vodka, St. Germain, Monin Blueberry, grapefruit soda, and lime, the mélange is served with garnish of sugar sweet rock candy. If you put the purple rock candy in the drink, it will slowly change the color and sweeten up the taste of the cocktail as it dissolves.
The Hibiscus Margarita is another pretty in pink drink with Casa Dragones Blanco, Cointreau, lime, and Monin Hibiscus. The Mole Manhattan is a sultry dark red with Woodford Rye, Amaro Montenegro, Luxardo Black Cherry, and mole bitters. The mole bitters make for a richer textured Manhattan.
Frozés are a popular summertime sip and Del Frisco’s has Watermelon Froze made with Jean Luc Columbia Rosé, Monin Watermelon, and watermelon puree. This adult slushy is perfect for sunny days on the rooftop.
If you’re hungry, the Bites menu has shared fill ups like Cheesesteak Eggrolls and Poke Mini-tacos. The eggrolls are savory, cheesy bites bringing the tastes Philly and Asia together on a plate. Don’t forget to use the eggrolls to scoop up the sweet chili sauce. The poke is light and refreshing with crunchy taco shells. Another highlight are Artichoke Beignets, little fried dough balls of tangy artichoke served on creamy, sweet basil dressing.
Happy hour at Del Frisco’s Grille is Monday-Friday from 4 to 6:30 PM and features bites, cocktails, spirits and wines for $7 and craft draft beers for $6. Centrally located Del Frisco’s Grille Cherry Creek is at 100 St. Paul St., Suite 140. Make reservations by calling 303-320-8529.
