Angry Orchard is Giving Us Rose Hard Cider Because Why Not
It seems like just last week we were writing about another booze brand infusing rosé into their product to make headlines. Oh wait, that was last week, and now Angry Orchard is the latest company to announce they’re dipping their toes into the rosé pond.
The hard cider company is releasing a 5.5% ABV rosé-flavored cider, giving millennials just what they deserve this spring. This pink drink is apparently made with red apples from France - you know the same apples that they use to make wine with over there. Angry Orchard describes the cider's taste as “apple forward” with a dry finish.
Head Cider Maker of Angry Orchard, Ryan Burke, told Refinery29: "I love Rosé wine, but I'm excited for drinkers to move on over to cider and try something new this spring with our Angry Orchard Rosé. The rare red flesh apples used in our Rosé not only impart complex flavors but contribute to the cider's beautiful rosy hue. It's crisp, refreshing, and unlike any other style we have crafted."
The pastel-hued libation will be available in stores this month sold as 6 packs and in variety packs. Use Angry Orchard’s locator to find it, or avoid it, whatever your preference.
