A Twin Peaks Themed Bar is Opening in California
The Melrose Umbrella Company, a bar in Los Angeles, is transforming into Twin Peak’s sinister Roadhouse Cafe for the month of December. The pop-up includes a ninety-minute Roadhouse Experience, where guests can order drinks and treats (including, yes, pie) inspired by the show. Then starting on December 15, the bar launches a weekend Roadhouse Brunch, Friday through Sunday, at the Barbara Jean restaurant patio space in the back, complete with a damn fine cup of coffee. Reservations to both are available at the official Twin Peaks website. Both cost $25, which is credited towards the guest’s final bill. Hardcore fans can even pick up sanctioned merchandise next door at the vacated Greenspan’s Grilled Cheese space.
The event is sure to make Californian fans of the show happy. However, a question more mysterious than “who killed Laura Palmer?” is why the pop-up is happening there, rather than in the Pacific Northwest, where the show takes place.
