For many people, flying is a miserable experience, and only the calming effects of a glass of wine or beer can help stabilize the nerves against jolts of turbulence and air-pockets. Delta Airlines will be helping with this, as the company
announced in October that all customers, even the wretched masses in coach, will be receiving complimentary sparkling wine on international flights.
Delta has selected Avissi Prosecco to be its in-flight choice of sparkling wine, in the form of adorable, 50 ml mini-bottles. For many, this is a welcome change; even for those that are not fans of sparkling wines, the decision to serve it is objectively better than other airlines’ offer of live music on flights.
