Fans of the seminal film Blade Runner will know that Harrison Ford’s character Rick Deckard was a fan of scotch. He favored Johnnie Walker Black Label, which got its own “futuristic” bottle design for the film. With the Blade Runner sequel in theaters now, Johnnie Walker has designed a blend to commemorate the film: Johnnie Walker Black The Director’s Cut. And, naturally, it comes in a bottle designed specifically after the film’s version.

The blend is reported to be inspired by the aesthetics of Blade Runner, a robust and potent whisky, but graceful, full of smoke, toffee, vanilla, and dried fruit. It’s also a higher proof than the normal Johnnie Walker Black, at 49% ABV, a testament to the film’s 2049 setting.

Only 39,000 bottles are being produced, with 27,000 landing stateside with a suggested price of $90. If you can get your hands on a bottle, we suggest drinking it out of a Cibi Glass while watching the original film for the truest experience.
