Great American Beer Festival Tickets Go on Sale August 1-2

Pre-sale August 1
by Carrie Dow on Jul 26, 2017 in Beer

Get ready, get set, click! Tickets for the Great American Beer Festival 2017 will go on sale Tuesday and Wednesday, August 1-2. We all know these tickets go fast so this is your final warning. The Great American Beer Festival will take place in Denver at the Colorado Convention Center Thursday through Saturday, October 5-7.

Tuesday, August 1, is the Member Pre-sale starting at 10 AM Mountain Time. Anyone who is a member of the Brewers Association or the American Homebrewers Association should have received an email around July 25 with a special 11-digit access code to use for the presale. Membership presale also allows access to the Members-only Session Saturday afternoon.

For the rest of us, tickets go on sale to the public on Wednesday, August 2, at 10 AM Mountain Time. For the time zone challenged, that’s 12 PM Eastern Time, 11 AM Central Time, and 9 AM Pacific Time. Tickets are sold via Ticketmaster.

Here are some tips from the festival website to make sure you get your GABF 2017 tickets:

1) Sign into Ticketmaster BEFORE tickets go on sale, that includes credit card information.
2) Don’t waste precious time on password recovery!
3) Using the Ticketmaster app can circumvent finicky web browsers.

Let’s say you don’t get tickets doing this or perhaps your place of business frowns upon using precious work time for ordering beer festival tickets. You can always volunteer, right? That answer is now maybe. Due to the substantial popularity of GABF, the volunteer program has changed and all NEW volunteers must now be referred by an current volunteer. If you know a GABF Volunteer, have that person provide a reference for you. New volunteers need to contact the GABF Volunteer Coordinator Carol Hiller. Her email address is on the festival website under Volunteer at the top of the homepage.

Good luck!
