Easy Brew Festival to Help Colorado Charity
A new beer festival is coming to town to help Colorado’s Hemophilia community. The Easy Brews Beer Festival will be held Sunday, June 4, to benefit the Colorado Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation. The organization helps hemophilia sufferers; a rare, genetic bleeding disorder that prevents blood from clotting.
The event will be held at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds from 2 to 6 PM and will feature craft beer tastings, food trucks and live music from Wake Up and Live, a Bob Marley tribute band. Tickets are $40 for General Admission and $60 for VIP. General Admission includes a souvenir tasting glass and unlimited one ounce tastings from all participating breweries. VIP tickets include hour early entry to the event, access to an exclusive VIP-only area and a VIP-only raffle. Designated Driver tickets are only $10, however, pricing for all tickets will go up the day of the event so get them online here now.
This event will help to raise funds for Colorado’s Backpacks & Bleeders program. Because their blood doesn’t clot, hemophilia sufferers are discouraged from participating in physical outdoor activities. The Colorado Chapter wants to change that with this one-of-a-kind program designed to get Hemophiliacs outdoors hiking, mountain climbing, rock climbing and more. Special guest Chris Bombadier, the first hemophiliac to climb Mt. Everest, will be on hand to talk about his adventures.
