Anheuser-Busch InBev Has Purchased Wicked Weed
Anheuser Busch InBev has made its first craft beer purchase of 2017 with Wicked Weed Brewing, which is based out of North Carolina, according to Brewbound.
This is the 10th craft brewery acquired by Anheuser-Busch, after breweries like Goose Island, Breckenridge Brewery, and Blue Point Brewing were acquired by the powerhouse in 2016. Founded in Asheville in 2012 by Walt and Luke Dickinson, Wicked Weed has created almost 500 beers since its inception. Some of their signature brews include their West Coast-style IPAs, like their Pernicious IPA and their Lunatic Belgian Blonde.
