Bacon and Beer Classic Returns to Mile High

Two great tastes that taste great together
by Carrie Dow on Apr 26, 2017 in Event Listing

Bringing together two great tastes, the Bacon and Beer Classic returns to Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Saturday, May 13. Enjoy bacon and beer, fun and games.

Guests will be able to enjoy bacon-infused dishes from Denver’s best local chefs and restaurants along with sips of some 80 plus craft beers and ciders from local and regional breweries. Play games on the field such a giant Jenga and other fun events, make a pretzel necklace, brand yourself with beer and bacon tattoos and get your photo taken. There is even a bacon eating contest. The event will also partner with local charities to raise money.

There will be two sessions for this grand event, an afternoon session from 1 PM to 4 PM and an evening session from 7 PM to 10 PM. General Admission tickets start at $69 per person and Early Access tickets, which allow entry 30 minutes early, are $85 per person. Power Hour Tickets are $99 and include admission an hour early through an exclusive line and VIP tickets are $129 and include hour early entry with access to a special lounge featuring exclusive bacon dishes and beers along with cocktails. All tickets can be purchased online. DrinkDenver readers can get a 15% discount using the promo code CHEERS.

The event, which is held in several cities across the country, is held in sports arenas giving guests a chance to see their favorite team's venue without the gameday madness. To see Denver's full restaurant and brewery list, visit the website.
