The 2017 National Western Stock Show is in full swing, with rodeos, ranch animals, trade show, and everyone’s favorite, Muttin Bustin’. It also has adult beverages. What could be more Colorado than a beer at the rodeo or a whiskey cocktail at the western art exhibit? Here is a rundown of where to quench a thirst during the 2017 Stock Show. The show runs now through January 22.

The National Western Bar & Grill Steakhouse is a sit down restaurant located inside the Expo Hall. It is located on the north side, Section #139. It will have a full bar with cocktails and is open 11 AM to 8 PM Sunday through Thursday and 11 AM to 9 PM Friday and Saturday.

This is Coors Country and Coors Brewery is a major sponsor of the Stock Show, so you can find a variety of Coors products on the event grounds and during special events like the PBR Rodeo and Coors Western Art Exhibit and Sale. Having a Banquet Beer at the stock show is about as Western as you can get.

Coors Cowboy Bar is full service bar serving beer and spirits. It located in the cattle barn on the first floor of the Hall of Education. Open 10 AM to 9 PM daily.

Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey is also a major sponsor, and the distillery will host a full bar open daily during the show. Stranahan’s Whiskey Bar is located on the second floor of the Hall of Education and will be open 9 AM to 8 PM Sunday through Thursday and 9 AM to 9 PM Friday and Saturday.

Since January hosts the NFL playoffs and college and NBA basketball, those who need a sports fix while at the Stock Show can visit the Colorado Spirits Sports Saloon. Only this location will have TVs showing live sporting events. Find it at Section #504 in the Expo Hall inside the Hall of Education and open 9 AM to 8 PM Sunday through Thursday and 9 AM to 9 PM Friday and Saturday.

The Denver Stockyard Saloon is located next to the Stock Show grounds at 4710 National Western Dr. The bar has $2 drafts all day everyday. During the Stock Show the Saloon has live music from 8:30 PM to 2 AM. Check the website for bands.
