Miller High Life, The Champagne of Beers, Now Has Champagne Bottles
Just in time for the New Year, Miller High Life, AKA “The Champagne of Beers,” has recently launched full 750 ml champagne bottles. The cheap, tinny, overly carbonated beer has long been a favorite of working class folks and broke hipsters alike, and while the slogan is often said facetiously, there’s no denying its charm. Somehow, a full champagne bottle of Miller was likely an especially appropriate way to close out a year like 2016.
Fortunately, the price remains low, just $1.99 on Binny’s, which means this is likely to be the cheapest bottle of “champagne” you could hope for. Unfortunately, it’s not available on shelves anywhere but Chicago, Boozist.com reports, so unless you’re in the windy city, you might have to stick to the 12 oz bottles, or an actual bottle of bubbly for your special occasion.
