The Science of Caffeine

Drink and Ponder at DMNS' The Science Lounge in February

The Science Lounge at Denver Museum of Nature and Science is back for 2016. This adults only evening event allows guests to visit the museum and see it in a whole different way while attending seminars and hopefully learning a thing or two. For February 2017, the museum will examine the science of our nation’s favorite obsession: caffeine.

Guests will perk up with the perfect brew of beans, botany and science. For most people, coffee makes the magic happen every morning. Percolate on how caffeine affects your body, sip on a special javas, meet the experts behind the beans and geek out on the coffee bean gene pool. For this event, even the cocktails will be caffeinated!

Tickets are $13 for museum members and $15 for nonmembers and can be purchased on the museum’s website. Museum Young Professionals, use your benefits! Redeem your free Science Lounge tickets by calling 303-370-8347. The event runs from 6:30 to 9:30 PM and guests be 21 and up.
