Drink and Ponder at DMNS' The Science Lounge in January
The Science Lounge at Denver Museum of Nature and Science is back for 2016. This adult’s only evening event allows guests to visit the museum and see it in a whole different way while attending seminars and hopefully learn a thing or two. The museum is asking a big science question for January at the “What Makes Us Human” event on January 19.
This mind-expanding experience will feature entertainment while diving into the ancient past and current events to explore the language, behavior and rituals we humans have. For this event, the museum is partnering with “Sapiens,” a new online magazine hosted by the Museum to being the study of human beings to the public. Guests will consider the sweeping breadth of humanity in the museum’s anthropology collections. Then guests can sip a cocktail, beer or wine while doing some serious soul searching.
Tickets are $13 for museum members and $15 for nonmembers and can be purchased on the museum’s website. Museum Young Professionals, use your benefits! Redeem your free Science Lounge tickets by calling 303-370-8347. The event runs from 6:30 to 9:30 PM and guests must be 21 and up.
