Where to Take Dad for a Drink on Father's Day
On Sunday, June 19, we celebrate all things Dad. It’s a time to tell the men in our lives how much they mean to us and say thank you for being there. A great way to do that is to take him out for a nice meal and a beverage at one of these fine establishments.
Cook Street School
Does your dad like to cook? At the Bites n’ Brews class on Friday, June 17, Dad will learn the basics of cooking with beer using a menu that complements flavors and pairs them with beers. The cost of the class is $99 and it begins at 6 PM. Gift cards for upcoming classes are also available.
If your dad wants to be the best griller on the block, sign him up for the Father’s Day Grilling Class on Father’s Day. He will learn how to master grilling techniques and cook various ingredients on an open flame for $89. Class includes a complete meal and a selection of craft beers from local breweries. Class is from 11 AM to 2:30 PM. (1937 Market St.; 303-308-9300)
Del Frisco’s Grille
For Father’s Day treat dad to a Prime Rib Dinner featuring a 16 oz. slab next to a heaping mound of hand-mashed potatoes. This special dinner will be available both Saturday and Sunday. Those who are successful will receive a FREE meal. Drink specials include $2 Old Man Cans and $5 Old Fashioneds. Spend the rest of the day bonding with dad over games of ping pong, skee ball, corn hole and vintage video games.
