While most people assume that only Italian wine goes with Italian food, Salati in Northfield is going to turn that notion on its head. Salati Italian Street Food Restaurant is hosting a beer pairing dinner on Thursday, March 24, with traditional Italian “street” foods paired with both Colorado and Italian beers.

Enjoy a six-course meal paired with six beers. Courses include meatball sliders, parmesan-dusted chicken wings, Italian nachos, and Tuscan BBQ ribs. For dessert, enjoy peach and basil cobbler with vanilla gelato. What beers, or birras, will go with these dishes? You’ll have to attend to find out.

Cost is $25 per person plus tax and gratuity, and reservations can be made by calling 303-307-1695. Reservations will be taken until noon on March 24.
