Time to dust off the boots and put on your finest cowboy hat because the folks that created Epic Beer Festivals are at it again. The first ever Country Beer Festival will be held at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 24. Held at one of the Metro Area’s premier horse and rodeo venues, enjoy over 80 different beers from some of Colorado's newest breweries alongside some old favorites.

Along with plenty of great beer, enjoy live country and bluegrass music, games, prizes, and food will be available for purchase. Breweries include Alpine Dog, Beer By Design, Big Choice, Coda, Declaration, Eddyline, Elevation, Factotum, Cool River, Liquid Mechanics, Living the Dream, Mockery, Mu, Odd 13, 7 Hermits, and Verboten along with Redstone Meadery and Stemm Ciders. Come drink these tasty beers where rodeo bull riding actually happens.

There will be two sessions on Saturday. The afternoon session is from 1 to 4 PM and the evening is from 7 to 10 PM. General Admission tickets are $39 per person. Also available are VIP tickets for $75 per person that include entrance an hour early to the event (Noon and 6 PM) and a Country Beer Fest T-shirt.

The festival also offers special Designated Driver tickets. Drivers purchase a regular ticket for $39 in advance. After attending the event, those that have signed up as a DD will take a breathalyzer as they leave and if they blow anything above a .00 that means they drank at the event. Not good. Those that do not have any alcohol on their breath will receive a complete refund in the mail. See the website for more details on this program.

There will be plenty of free parking at the fairgrounds, and there will also be a special Uber, Lyft, and Taxi area for drop off and pick up. Guests can also take the RTD Light Rail W Line tram to the Red Rocks College station, and then it’s just a short bike ride to the fairgrounds. Yee-haw!
