Where to Find Broncos Football Specials in Denver

Do you realize the country went over 20 weeks without a football game since the Super Bowl last February? Well football fans, we made it! The NFL season is back, and we can now watch our beloved Broncos as they take the field once again. Since most of us prefer to watch a game with a drink in our mitts, here are some places offering drink specials during Broncos games.

The Cooler
Every NFL Gameday (Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays), The Cooler will have football specials on food and drink for everyone to enjoy. Get $2.50 Bud Light cans and Coors Light and Bud drafts. On Sundays, enjoy brunch specials from 10 AM to 2 PM. (2045 Sheridan Blvd.; 720-536-4836)

Hopper’s Sports Grill
If downtown is too chaotic for you, head to Hopper’s in Wheat Ridge for a Broncos fix. Game specials include $8 10-piece wings, $3.25 Blue Moon pints, $3 Mile High Sunset Shots, and $2.25 Coors Light pints. (10051 N I-70 Service Rd.; 303-233-1331)

Mile High Station
Once again, Mile High Station near Sports Authority Field wants to be your Bronco’s headquarters. Every home game, enjoy the Broncos Bash at the event center featuring a new food menu and drink specials. Guests can also enter to win a pair of tickets to the next Broncos home game. Coors and Coors Light will be pouring every game, Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey drinks are only $6.50, and Tito’s Vodka drinks are $5. Also, 104.3 The Fan will be broadcasting live before every home game at the Station. Check the website for the home game schedule. (2027 Lower Colfax Ave.; 720-946-7721)

Sports Column
Celebrating 20 years on the LoDo bar scene, Sports Column is offering a FREE shuttle to and from all Broncos home games. The shuttle starts running two hours prior to game time and will return you and your friends back to the Sports Column after each game. (1930 Blake St.; 303-296-1930)

Stoney’s Bar and Grill
Enjoy all the action of the NFL on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays at Stoney’s. Enjoy $5 Herradura Margaritas and Finlandia Build-Your-Own Bloody Marys, $4 TuacaSouthern ComfortJack Honey, and Herradura Silver, $3.50 Coors Light and Miller Lite pints, and $4.50 Blue Moon pints. Make it a double for $2 more. Also, all pints will be served in cool Stoney’s cups, which guests can take home. (1111 Lincoln St.; 303-830-6839)

Stout Street Social
During games this fall, the bar at Stout Street will offer $1 Coors Lights for each Bronco’s touchdown scored. (1400 Stout St.; 720-214-9100)

Tavern Restaurants
Win tickets for each Broncos home game! All Tavern restaurants will offer game pieces for a chance to win. There are also sideline passes, cash, and other prizes available. Just get a game piece from any Tavern Restaurant. Codes from the game pieces can be entered online to find out if they are winners. (All eight locations, Downtown, Uptown, Wash Park, Littleton, Lowry, Tech Center, Ballpark, and Mile High)

Thirsty Lion Gastropub & Grill
Next door to Union Station is the Thirsty Lion. While it has a reputation as a fütbal bar, on NFL game days the folks at the Lion will be streaming eight TVs with live NFL games and 52 beers on tap. Enjoy these Broncos’ game specials: $5 Bloody Marys and $4 Coors Lights (Saturday and Sunday only) and Happy Hour starts at 3 PM for post-game celebrations. During September and October games, register to win the Broncos 6-pack Promo with dinner at the Thirsty Lion and six tickets to a Broncos Game. (1605 Wynkoop St.; 303-623-0316)

ViewHouse
Both locations of the ViewHouse are ready for football season with food and drink specials. ViewHouse Centennial also features one of the largest flat-screen HD TVs in the state! Enjoy $5 Colorado Buffalo Gold drafts and Jim Beam specialty cocktails, $3 Coors Light drafts and special football food platters. On Sunday, enjoy brunch before the game starting at 9 AM.
