Wings & Whiskey Returns to Ace Eat Serve, June 7

Wings up!

Join the party at Ace Eat Serve on Sunday, June 7, for the 2nd annual Wings & Whiskey where eight of Denver’s top chefs compete for best wings. This outdoor afternoon event will feature amazing whiskey cocktails, a wing eating contest and live music by the Whiskey Folk (featuring members of The Congress). Best of all, the party is for charity.

Attendees will be able to sample wings prepared by incredible Denver chefs competing for the title of Wing King. Adult beverages will be provided by Southern Wine & Spirits,and Great Divide Brewing will be slinging the beers. Guests will be able to enter a charity wing eating contest for a chance to win a new cruiser bike from Evergreen Bicycle Outfitters.

Chefs competing in the event include Jamey Fader, Big Red F; Matt Selby, Central Bistro; Elijah Odell, Highland Tap and Burger; Mimi Banish, Osage Café; Mark Dym, Marco’s Coal-Fired Pizza; Ryan Higgins, Lou’s Food Bar; B. Foster, Vesta; C. Blauvelt, Steuben’s; and C. Medved, Ace Eat Serve. The Wing King winner will be voted on by the attendees (People’s Choice) and a panel of judges (Judge’s Choice).

General Admission tickets are $45 and include unlimited tastes and three drink tickets good for whiskey cocktails and sake from the Southern Wine and Spirits Whiskey Booth. VIP tickets are $65 and include early admission to the festivities, unlimited tastes, VIP bar area and OPEN Whiskey Bar sponsored by Southern Wine and Spirits. Everyone gets unlimited beers from Great Divide and additional food provided by Ace. Everyone also has the option to sign up for the wing eating contest (space permitting). Proceeds will benefit The Denver Housing Authority’s Youth Culinary Academy.
