The Bark Bar in Highlands West is the first of its kind in Denver, a craft beer and coffee bar with a 4,000 SF fenced-in dog yard. However, when something is new, there can be growing pains. The Bark Bar is currently having issues with zoning and licensing from the city and it is taking a bite (literally) out of the bar's finances. The Bark Bar will host a Bite Back Party this Saturday, October 18, to raise money to help pay these legal fees. 

The Bar Bark has been well received by the dog-loving community and has even won local awards as best dog park. Unfortunately, legal fees for issues from the city may force the bar to close. For those that would like to see the Bark Bar continue, consider attending the Bite Back Party at the bar this Saturday from 6 to 10 PM. During the party the bar will have drink specials, food and raffle prizes.
