Where to Find Football Drink Specials in Denver

Our beloved Broncos are on the gridiron again. This fall begins a new season and we’ve forgotten all about that silly game last February. The first official game is Sunday, September 7, against the Manning's old team the Indianapolis Colts, starting at 6:30 PM. As always, local establishments are offering drink specials during the games. If you know of any specials we've missed, let us know on Facebook or Twitter and we'll add them! Here is a rundown of where to find cheap drinks this football season.

The Cooler: The Cooler across from Sloan’s Lake features $2 Bud Light cans and $2 Coors Light and Budweiser drafts. The bar opens at 10 AM on Sundays with a full lineup of NFL Sunday Ticket and brunch menu until 2 PM. (2045 Sheridan Blvd.; 720-536-4836)

Fado Irish Pub:  Whether you're into futbol or football, don't worry Fado has both. Fado opens up early on Saturdays and Sundays to show Premier League and La Liga matches in the morning, then Sunday afternoons find your favorite NFL team on one of the 15 TVs around the old Irish bar. Brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday from open until 3 PM and features bottomless mimosas. NFL Sundays bring $3 Bud Lights and $9 Bud Light pitchers. (1735 19th St.; 303-297-0066)
