To help celebrate National Oyster Day, all four Jax Fish House locations will offer Oyster Happy Hour with special “guest shuckers” at each location. Downtown features Colorado’s own Governor Hickenlooper.

The event is Tuesday, August 5, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM and all four Jax locations will serve FREE oysters to everyone during that hour. Drink specials include $3 Dixie Lagers, $5 glasses of wine and $1 off all brews from The Post Brewing Company. Before and after the magical oyster hour, oysters will be $1.25 each and there will also be $2 oyster shooters.

All guests celebrating with Jax on August 5 are eligible to enter a trip for two to the Emersum Oyster Farm at Rappahannock River Oysters on the Chesapeake Bay. Winners receive a tour of the place where Jax exclusive signature oysters are grown and harvested. Prize includes airfare, a meal at Merrior (Rappahannock’s seaside oyster bar), rental car and lodging for two.

Jax downtown is located at 1539 17^th St. (on 17^th between Wazee and Blake) and the Glendale location is at 650 S. Colorado Blvd. near Cherry Creek. Other locations include Boulder and Fort Collins.
