Be Irish for the Weekend at Colorado Irish Fest

Mark your calendars! July 11-13 is when everyone gets a little Irish at the Colorado Irish Festival in Clement Park in Littleton. Listen to music, play sports and drink like an Irishman for three whole days!

Killian’s Irish Red is an official sponsor so the suds will be flowin’. Featured bands include national performers Gaelic Storm, Searson, The Elders and The High Kings. Many other bands and pipe and drum corps will also be rocking the yard. Hardy men and women can try a hand at Gaelic games competition including Hurling, Camogie and Gaelic football. Watch a feis (fesh) competition, that’s Irish Dancing. There will also be a kid’s play area so bring the whole family.

For serious imbibers, get tickets to The Paddy’O VIP area. Paddy’O members can relax in a cool, covered tent with stage viewing area, food for purchase and a private bar. Only 21 and over allowed and there will be giveaways and band appearances. VIP tickets are currently $39 per person in advance for Friday and $69 in advance for Saturday and Sunday. Purchase a weekend pass for $149 per person for all three days.

Advanced festival tickets are $10 per person for Friday and Sunday and $12 on Saturday. Tickets at the gate are $10 for Friday, $16 for Saturday and $13 for Sunday. Tickets can be purchased online for the largest Irish celebration outside of St. Paddy’s Day. Volunteer opportunities are also available. See the website for more information.
