Humboldt to Host Wine Pairing Dinner
Capital Park West's newest eatery, Humboldt, will host an wine pairing dinner featuring the incredible wines of Oregon this Wednesday, May 21, at 6:30 PM.
Guests will enjoy an explainary menu by Chef DJ Nagle paired with a selection of fine wines from Abacela Winery. The menu includes Seared New Bedford Scallops, Olive Oil Poached Ahi Tuna and Colorado Leg of Lamb. Dinner is $75 per person and includes complimentary valet parking. Abacela Wines was founded by Earl Jones who has a passion for wine from Spain's noble Tempranillo grape. Jones has found the best place in American to produce these fine wines in the Umpqua Valley of Oregon where he began in 1995. Today, Abacela also produces wines from Spain's Albarino grape. Abacela was named 2013 Winery of the Year by Wine Press Northwest.
