With long-awaited opening of Union Station downtown about to happen, the folks at the Wynkoop are getting into the party spirit. This Friday, May 9, the Wynkoop will help host a street party to celebrate the opening of the new and improved Union Station. 

From 11 AM to 6 PM head to 17th and Wynkoop for food trucks and beer garden sponsored by the tasty ales of the Wynkoop Brewery. There will also be live music and vendor booths from the many businesses in the area. The beer garden will sell tickets for $5 each and each ticket is good for one 12-oz beer in the garden. Proceeds will benefit the Colorado Neurological Institute. 

At noon guests will be able to watch as city leaders and partners dedicate the new Union Station with a marching band, color guard and ribbon cutting ceremony. After the ribbon cutting, head back to the party at the Wynkoop for an afternoon of fun. There will also be tours of the new station for those who are interested.
