Why is everyone heading for the hills? Because it's time for Oskar Blues' Burning Can beer and music festival in Lyons.

Held at Bohn Park, this music and beer fest is held only a few blocks from the Oskar Blues brew pub in the hillside town of Lyons.

The event is Saturday, May 31, starting at 4 PM. Musical entertainment features Interstate Stash Express at 7 PM and the festival's special headliner Anders Osborne at 8 PM.

Here is just a small sampling of breweries scheduled for this event: Asher, Aspen, Austin, Big Choice, Bonfire, Bootstrap, Crystal Springs, Eddyline, Epic, Fate, La Cumbre, Lumberyard, Maui, Pateros, Sanitas, Santa Fe, Sprecher, Moab, and Wonderland along with many other of our favorite breweries.

Tickets are available online starting at $30 in advance for general admission or $45 for a special VIP session that starts at 3 PM. General admission tickets will be $35 day of the event. The Courtyard by Marriott in Longmont is offering special room rates for out of town guests and the Oskar Blues shuttle trolley will take people from the hotel to the park every hour starting at 2 PM.
