Fate Brewing’s Elephas Maximus Cervesia, a Belgian saison with Asian spices lemongrass, ginger, thai basil and kaffir lime leaf. To include a small piece of Denver in the beer, the brewery used honey made from the zoo’s own bee farm. Fate paired the beer with a delicious grilled pork belly sandwich. The cole slaw was also made using Elephas Maximus Cervesia. The beer will be on tap at the Boulder brewpub for those who didn’t make it to the zoo.
