The Great American Beer Festival celebrated 35 years of great beers on October 6-8 and this festival was the biggest one yet. Did you get in on the action?
Over 800 breweries were in attendance bringing 3,800 different styles of beer for people to try. There were 7,300 beers entered into the judging competition and 286 medals were awarded to 254 brewers and breweries. Once again the American IPA category had the largest number of entries at 2,002. This year’s festival also had the largest number of volunteers ever, 3,600. That is big time fun.
