New Amsterdam Vodka to Host 'It's Your Town' Party in Denver

Art Meets Cocktail
by Carrie Dow on Aug 3, 2016 in Event Listing

Head to Price Davis Studios in RiNo on Saturday, August 6, for a unique event that says this is Our Town. New Amsterdam Vodka is hosting "It's Your Town" Denver from 6-9 PM. The event is free and open to the public, as long as you are 21 and over. While you're there, njoy original art from Mike Graves and jamie Molina.

Guests will also enjoy the custom Denver-inspired cocktail The Highland Rose, created just for this event by New Amsterdam mixologist and Avanti Food & Beverage Bartender Brittany Wangsness. The cocktail is made with New Amsterdam, Campari, St. Germain, lemon juice, grenadine and LaMarca Prosecco. Here is the recipe for those who want to try at home:

1.5 oz. New Amsterdam Vodka

0.25 oz. Campari

0.25 oz. St. Germain

1 oz. lemon juice

0.5 oz. Grenadine

Top with LaMarca Prosecco and garnish with a lemon twist.

Add all ingredients (except La Marca) into cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously. Uncap shaker and add LaMarca. Strain into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice and garnish.
