Head South to Pueblo for the Big Bear Brew Fest, Nov. 21

Proving that beer is enjoyed all over Colorado, the 2nd annual Big Bear Brew Fest will be held at the Pueblo Convention Center on Saturday, November 21. Sample over 100 beers from over 50 breweries both near and far.

Last year’s breweries were a mix of large and small from the western US and a some national brands. This year will bring back some old favorites and a variety of new breweries such as Red Leg from Colorado Springs, San Luis Valley Brewing from Alamosa, and Pueblo’s own Shamrock Brewing. National breweries include Woodchuck Hard Ciders, Samuel Adams, Pacifico, Coors, and Hoegaarden.

Guests have two tasting sessions to choose from on Saturday. The afternoon session is from 1–4 PM and the evening session is from 5:30–8:30 PM. General admission tickets are $40 per person in advance, but will be $50 at the door. There is a military discount of $5 for all those with active military IDs shown at the door. Special VIP tickets are $60 per person, and guests will receive a special festival t-shirt and entrance into the event a half hour early. VIP tickets are limited to the first 200 people to sign up. All tickets include souvenir tasting mug, lanyard, and unlimited sampling of beers. Tickets are available online. Food will be available for purchase during the event. All ticket holders must be 21 and older.

A portion of the proceeds from the Big Bear Brew Fest will go to The Home Front Cares, an organization the provides grants to Colorado Veterans, service members, and their families that are in need of financial, emotional counseling, and other assistance.
