Show Mom Some Love at These Denver Mother's Day Brunches
Time to show mom how much we appreciate everything she does by taking her to one of Denver’s many awesome Sunday Brunches. These places are already known for incredible Sunday spreads, but when Mom’s Day is involved, things gets turned it up a notch. Tell mom to relax while someone else does the dishes.
Bistro Vendome (1420 Larimer St.; 303-825-3232)
Take mom on a trip to France without leaving Denver for Mother’s Day. Bistro Vendome serves brunch a la Francais from 10 AM to 2 PM. Mom can enjoy a variety of Royales or Champagne cocktails. They include Peche, Kir, Frambroise and Piore and the classic French 75. All Royales are $8. Other brunch Gueules de Bois (hangover drinks) include Biere Rouge, Blossom Miel and the Tall Napoleon.
Highland Tap and Burger (2219 W. 32nd Ave.; 720-287-4493)
Sunday Brunch with a Beat is always a fun at HTB with DJ Amen setting a funky Rasta roots vibe to the morning. For Mother’s Day try something different from the brunch menu like the Michelada with Oskar Blues’ Mamas Yella Pils, tomato juice, lime juice, and a special blend of HTB spices for only $6 or French 75 with Leopold Bros. small batch gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, and Champagne for $9. Traditional bloody Mary bar and bottomless mimosas are still an option.
Marlowe’s (501 16th St.; 303-595-3700)
Keep things classy by taking mom to one of Denver’s favorite chop houses, Marlowe’s on the 16th Street Mall. Mother’s Day brunch is $26 per person from 9 AM to 2 PM. Enjoy $9 bottomless mimosas and $5 build-your-own bloody Marys. Call for reservations.
Max Gill & Grill (1052 Gaylord St.; 303-722-7456)
If mom happens to love the bounty of the sea take her to Max’s for a special Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet. Top it off with the $4.50 bloody Mary bar or $8 bottomless mimosas. A crowd is expected for this one so reservations are recommended.
Second Home Kitchen + Bar (150 Clayton Ln.; 303-253-3000)
Mom doesn’t even need to dress up to come to Second Home in Cherry Creek. Enjoy the Sunday Pajama Brunch party featuring a pancake bar for the kids and bottomless mimosas for mom (and dad). Kids eight and under in PJs eat free.
The Corner Office (1401 Curtis St.; 303-825-6500)
The Corner Office continues the popular Sunday Disco Brunch for Mother’s Day. However, on this special day all moms receive a complimentary glass of Prosecco, a well-deserved treat for any mom.
Wazee Super Club (1600 15th St.; 303-623-9518)
The Wazee will offer up special twists on their traditional Italian menu for Mother’s Day. New treats include Sweet Potato French Toast, Benedict di Parma and Breakfast Pizza. Brunch is from 10 AM to 2 PM, however, moms can kick back all day with $3 drinks such as bloody Marys, mimosas and a glasses of champagne.
