Taste the 2016 Governor's Cup Wine Winners

Tickets are now on sale for Colorado’s most coveted wine tasting, the Governor’s Cup Tasting. This year it takes place on Thursday, August 4 at the History Colorado Center.

The Colorado Wine Industry Development Board will host this exclusive tasting of the top 12 winning wines from the Governor’s Cup Competition. Enjoy small plates created by Colorado’s most high profile chefs. Tickets are $45 for General Admission and $90 for VIP. VIP includes entry an hour early at 6:30 PM. Tickets can be purchased at the Colorado Wine website.

This year’s Governor’s Cup Competition will include 236 wines from 33 Colorado wineries. The competition will happen in July and judged by a panel of sommeliers, winemakers, writers, and wine experts from around the country including returning judge and winemaker, Warren Winiarski. While the judging is closed to the public, the August tasting is available to everyone.
