Riffle Beer Dinner With Burnside Brewing, January 28

After the success of last fall’s Urchin Ale, Riffle NW’s Ken Norris and Burnside Brewing’s Jason McAdam are working a new collaboration. This time around, the goal is not to create a whole new beer, but instead to introduce Portlanders to the duo’s shared love of seafood, and the way it pairs with brew.

A five-course beer dinner will go down at the Pearl District hot spot on Monday, January 28, featuring oceanic bites of all kind matched with an assortment of brews. Start with welcome snacks, including the sea urchin and quail egg shot that inspired the first collab, along with some Urchin Ale to wash it down. Other pairings feature crispy prawns with Sweet Heat, a tuna burger with Burnside Pale Ale, and a molten cake dessert with Almond Joy Porter.

Space is limited, so call the restaurant to reserve your spot — it will run you $65 per person for the food and drink. The fun starts at 6:30 PM.
