The Fourth Annual Collaboration Fest Hits Denver

Brews in Twos and more
by Carrie Dow on Feb 1, 2017 in Event Listing

One of Denver’s most unique and popular beer festivals is fast approaching. Collaboration Beer Fest will hit the town on Saturday, March 25, at the National Wester Stock Show Complex. Showcasing the collaborative nature of the craft beer industry, Collaboration Fest joins brewer to brewer and friend to friend to stretch the limits of craft beer and garner new ideas about brewing. The best part is we get to taste the benefits.

Created by Two Parts and the Colorado Brewers Guild, the festival is a way to give brewers the opportunity to create a unique beer with another brewery. The festival will feature over 75 projects from 100 breweries. These special beers are available on a limited basis with most only being available at the festival. This is also the headline event for Colorado Craft Beer Week, March 19-27.

For this project, Colorado-based breweries partner with another brewery, or two, (or five), whoever they want. These partners can be from anywhere, around the corner to around the world. Below is just a small taste of this year’s collaborations:

38 State and Backcountry
Alpine Dog and Mountain Toad
Bierstadt Lagerhaus and Call to Arms
Summit County Collaboration – Breckenridge, Backcountry, Dillon DAM, Broken Compass and Pug Ryan’s
Cannonball Creek and Hogshead
Cerebral and Great Notion
Comrade and Uberbrew
El Rancho and Shine
Elevation and Spangalang
Epic and Telluride
FATE and Reuben’s
Golden City and Nantahala
RiNo Collaboration – Great Divide, Epic, Bierstadt, Beryl’s, Our Mutual Friend, Zephyr, Ratio, Black Shirt, Crooked Stave and Mockery
Jagged Mountain and Vail Brewing
Liquid Mechanics and Comrade
Lone Tree and Platt Park
Odd 13 and New Image
Odyssey and River North
Steamworks and Dry Dock
TRVE and Cerebral
Upslope and Resolute
Wonderland and Grateful Gnome

Many more collaborations will be announced in the coming days on the website.

Tickets for the festival are $60 per person General Admission and include unlimited tastings and commemorative glass. VIP tickets are $85 per person and include hour early entry and event t-shirt ($25 value). There will also be food vendors, live music and many other festival perks. Tickets can be purchased online.

This festival has grown so large it needed more space and has moved to the National Western Stock Show Complex near the I-70/I-25 interchange. The event runs from 4 to 7 PM.
