Where to Drink on Memorial Day Weekend in Baltimore

On Memorial Day, we clink our full glasses in memory of those who have died for our nation’s service. Throughout Memorial Day Weekend, we also celebrate an extra day off. Whether at a backyard BBQ, a beer garden or one of these great events, we know you'll find a way to enjoy yourself this weekend.

Baltimore’s 5th Annual Soft Shell Crab Celebration
Friday, May 17–Tuesday, May 28
Leading up to and through Memorial Day weekend, many of our favorite restaurants with superb drinks are showcasing their love for the the soft shell crab thanks to the coordination of the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore. Wine Tasting at Sunset
6–9 PM, Thursday, May 23
Beneath the beautiful Patterson Park Pagoda this Thursday will be a wine tasting event hosted by The Friends of Patterson Park. For $50 you get the opportunity to taste and learn about many great wines while enjoying appetizer and cheese pairings from places like Bistro RX, V–NO and Chesapeake Wine Company.

Summer Concert Series at Flying Dog Brewery
5:30–9 PM, Saturday, May 25
Flying Dog Brewery is kicking off their outdoor summer concert series with Montreal and Baltimore's Us and Us Only. The event will feature some amazingly fresh and new beers from Flying Dog that you can drink on the lawn while you relax. Tickets can be purchased here for $20.

Brew at the Zoo
1–7 PM, Saturday, May 25–Sunday, May 26
Grab your Memorial Day beers amongst the giraffes and lions at the Maryland Zoo this weekend. For $45, tickets get you a glass, live music, great food options and the abillity to try over 50 species of beers.

Good Life Feast–Ival
11 AM–5 PM, Saturday, May 25–Sunday, May 26
Boordy Vineyards will kick off their market season with a Feast–ival of Foods & Farmers. To the tunes of High Strung Bluegrass Band and Free Range Blue, local producers will sell the ingredients for a fantastic picnic as well as food to take home. All of this can be enjoyed with six wine tastings with the option to buy a bottle (or two). Tickets can be purchased online or as you enter.

Summer Kick Off Party
6 PM–close, Sunday, May 26
Grab your friends for a night of pianos and partying at this year’s Summer Kick Off Party hosted by Howl at the Moon. Enjoy many drink specials as well as an opportunity to win a summer kick off happy hour party for you and 100 friends.
