Spring is a time of renewal and cleansing, but thanks to the team at Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse, that does not mean giving up drinking. The Rittenhouse lounge has come up with a cocktail recipe that packs antioxidants, antimicrobials and vitamin C into a tasty and potent sip.

Basil Gimlet
2 oz. VeeV Acai Liqueur
Splash of simple syrup
Splash of lime juice
4-5 Basil leaves cut in half
Combine ingredients in shaker full of ice and shake until basil flavors are released. Strain into martini glass. Garnish with basil leaf & serve.
