Have the Perfect Pint Experience with Guinness in Las Vegas

Viva Las Vegas!
by Carrie Dow on Feb 3, 2017 in Beer

To pour a perfect pint of Guinness takes training, focus and also usually involves an airplane flight across an ocean to Dublin, Ireland. However, Guinness is providing an opportunity for North Americans to learn how to pour that perfect pint without leaving the States. It does involve a trip to Las Vegas, and we think we can manage that.

The Perfect Pint Experience is now available at the newly redesigned Guinness Store located next to Ri Ra Las Vegas inside The Shoppes at Mandalay Bay. By participating in the one-on-one experience, guests will get to pour their pints and drink them too.

Upon entering the Guinness Store guests will be welcomed by Gilroy “Zookeeper,” a famed Guinness icon imported straight from Ireland. Connoisseurs will note the beautiful bar top framed by a wall of Guinness paraphernalia and the high polished copper ceiling. There are three Guinness taps where guests can take part in the only “official” Perfect Pint Experience pouring class in the world outside of the storehouse in Dublin.

Participants will learn the six essential steps to Guinness pouring while also learning the history behind the historic brand. After the experience guests, will get to take home a personalized certificate of completion, a framed commemorative photograph, and the 20 oz. acrylic glass they used to hold the Guinness they poured. There is also a 10% discount for all Guinness merchandise in the store.

Pricing is $20 for an Individual Experience, which includes the above mentioned items. Groups of 20 or more can receive a special group rate. The store is also available for rent for private parties and corporate events. Call the store at 702-632-7773 for more information.

This experience is for guests 21 and over only. Share your experience online by using #PerfectPintExperience, @guinnessstorelv and @RiRaVegas.
