Del Frisco's to Host Valdicava Wines at Special Dinner

Indulge in the DTC

If you are in the mood for something extra extravagant, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse in the Tech Center is hosting a Valdicava Wine Dinner on Friday, July 29 at 6 PM. Cost is $400 per person.

Why the high price tag? Because of this amazing and rare menu featuring wines from Italian winery Valdicava where the vineyard's history goes back some 500 years:

First Course:  Grilled Radicchio, Lola Rosa, Marcona Almonds, and Peach Prosecco Vinagrette paired with NV Soligo Prosecco Brut

Second Course:  Waygu Beef Tartare with Black Truffle, Quail Egg, Peppercorn Lovash paired with 2010 Valdicava Rosso Di Montalcino.

Third Course:  Beef Braciole with herbed polenta and Bolognese paired with 2010 Valdicava Brunello Di Montalcino.

Fourth Course:  Garlic Herb Bone in Filet with sea salt frites, aged olive oil and Brunello reduction paired with 2003 Valdicava Brunello Di Montalcino Riserva ‘Madonna Del Piano’.

Fifth Course:  Blood Orange-Gelato and Apricot Biscotti paired with 1998 Berta Roccanivo Barbera Grappa.
