Where to Go Adult Trick or Treating in Denver

Halloween isn’t just for kids anymore. Adults like to get dressed up too. For those who want to bring out their inner child this Halloween, there are plenty of events in Denver where guests can do some Adult Trick or Treating and even win some great prizes. All of these events are free to enter, but food and drink are pay as you go. Here are places where you can take the kids or be a kid in Denver.

Ace Eat Serve
Party at Ace Eat Serve in the Highlands on Halloween with from 8 PM to 1 AM. Costume contest starts at 10:30. Enjoy some Cosmic Ping Pong and Hip Hop, Funk, and Soul music all night. Bar specials include $4 sake, $4 shots, $5 cocktails, and $1 off drafts. (500 E. 17th Ave.; 303-800-7705)

Avanti Food & Beverage
Bring the costumed kiddos for trick or treating inside the building on Halloween from 3 to 6 PM. Adults will get happy hour prices all day long. (3200 Pecos St.; 720-269-4778)

Blue Island Oyster Bar
Bring the kids in their Halloween costumes during Cherry Creek Trick or Treat from 12 to 4 PM on Halloween for a candy treat. Parents will be treated to either an oyster or a Halloween Shot. (2625 E. 2nd Ave.; 303-333-2462)

CAUTION: West
Enjoy this Lakewood location’s annual Halloween party with OMG Food Truck and a Sound Master DJ with karaoke and costume contest. (1057 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Unit 60; 970-315-BREW)

Ignite Burgers & Bar
Join the folks at Ignite on the rooftop starting at 8:30 PM for a 70s/80s DJ and a costume contest with some fabulous prizes. (2124 Larimer St.; 303-296-2600)

Joyride Brewing Company
Party over at this Sloan’s Lake brewery starting at 5 PM on Halloween. The costume contest starts at 9 PM. Dine on bites by Burgersmith food truck, and new beers will be on tap. (2501 Sheridan Blvd.; 720-432-7560)

Odyssey Beerwerks
Join the brewery for a costume contest starting at 6 PM on Halloween. Guests and ghouls will also enjoy music from Sleazy Grease and food from Barefoot BBQ. Special beer releases include Red Hot Clan Warrior, Psycho Candybar, and Ghost Pepper Ghost Drifter. (5535 W. 56th Ave., Ste. 107; 303-421-0772)

Postino Wine Café
All guests who stop into this newly opened restaurant in LoHi dressed in costume will receive a free glass of wine. Kids in costume will also get a sweet candy treat. (2715 17th St.; 303-433-6363)

South Broadway Trick or Treat Street
The following food and drink establishments on Denver’s Antiques Row South Broadway shopping district will offer free “Adult Treats” for parents who bring their kids trick or treating Halloween afternoon from 2 to 5 PM: Adelitas, Dive Inn, Divino, Former Future Brewing Company, GB Fish & Chips, Pasquini’s, Capital TeaGrandma’s House, La Cour Bistro, and The Crown Social will offer adult treats after 4 PM. Terminal Bar
The Terminal Bar in Union Station is having a Spooky Speakeasy on Friday, October 30, starting at 9 PM. Enjoy specialty spooky cocktails and a costume contest where the grand prize is a free night at The Crawford Hotel in Union Station. (1701 Wynkoop; 720-460-3701)

World of Beer – Belmar
Party at Woboween starting at 3 PM with music by Danny Shafter from 3-7 PM and a DJ starting at 8 PM. The featured brewery for the evening is Ballast Point, and along with beers, the brewery will also have some new specialty spirits on hand. The costume contest begins at 8 PM. (7260 W. World of Beer – LoDo
Join the Nightmare on Blake Street at the downtown World of Beer location. Featured brewery is Denver’s own Crooked Stave, and the brewery is bringing a keg of Nightmare on Brett for tasting. Colorado Vodka will host the costume contest with free vodka samples at 8 PM. (1555 Blake St.; 303-534-2337)

Zengo
Enter a Halloween costume contest by dining at Zengo on October 31. To enter, come dressed in costume and take a selfie while dining at the restaurant. Upload the photo to Instagram and include the tags @zengosr and #ZengoHalloween. The person with the winning photo will receive a helicopter ride sponsored by Arta Tequila.
