On Friday, September 4, the Cat Care Society will partner with Art of Life Gallery in the Santa Fe Arts District for a Wine and Cheese Reception to raise money for the Tails of the Painted Cats Fundraiser. The event is from 6:30 to 8 PM.

View and even bid on the beautiful Painted Cat sculptures for the fundraiser as well as other artwork around the gallery. All 24 Painted Cats will be on display as well as the Flat Cats canvases and other cat-related artwork. The sculptures and artwork will be auctioned off at a gala dinner in October.

Grande Cheese is providing the cheese and the wine will come from Balistreri Vineyards. A suggested donation of $10 per person is requested and payable at the wine bar. Street parking is available for the gallery as also in nearby parking lots at 2nd Ave. and Kalamath St. and Santa Fe Dr. and 2nd Ave. Also on this date is the September First Friday Art Walk in the Santa Fe Arts District, so make a night of it by riding the shuttle throughout the area’s art galleries from 5:30 to 10 PM.
