The 13th Annual Festival of the Brewpubs at A-Basin

Party in the mountains
by Carrie Dow on May 7, 2014 in Event Listing

With snow still pounding the mountains this year's Festival of the Brewpubs at Arapahoe Basin may be the best one yet. This annual event, which normally celebrates the summer season, will have guests skiing in the morning and drinking beer in the afternoon on Sunday, May 25, because Colorado's highest ski area will be open until June 1 this year.

With all that good skiing still available a record 12 breweries will show up to share a breadth of beers with the skiing public. Breweries include Pug Ryan's, Dillon Dam, AC Golden, Avery, Odells, Oskar Blues, Wynkoop, Tivoili, Twisted Pine, Breckenridge, Left Hand and Elevation. Live music will be provided by White Water Ramble

Tickets are $25 and include a commemorative mug and endless small samples from noon until 4 PM. A-Basin Club Members can get $5 off. Guests can purchase food tickets in $5 increments in advance online or on-site day of the event. To keep people safe, Summit Stage buses will also run FREE bus service from Keystone to A-Basin both before and after the event. To see the bus schedule, visit the A-Basin website
