Lowry Beer Garden: By turning an old Air Force hangar into Denver’s first official German-style biergarten, the folks at Lowry Beer Garden have created over 4,500 sq. ft. of outdoor drinking space that can seat up to 350 people. Grab a boardgame to play at the communal picnic tables. In addition to 16 beers on tap and about twice that many in bottles, choices include a selection of wine and a full-service bar. They also serve an upscale selection of bar food with a distinctly Colorado twist - bison burger or elk sausage, anyone? Happy hour is 3-6 PM, Monday-Friday and again from 10 PM-midnight (7577 E.
